The Discovery Fair: Labs & Lands

$15.00

We're excited to announce a new event for our community: The Discovery Fair: Labs & Lands, coming in spring 2027!

Date: Friday, May 21, 2027

Time: 12:00-2:00

Location: Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Indialantic

This is a two-in-one fair where students can share what they're curious about. Both areas use the same format: each presenter sets up a tri-fold display board at their own table and shares their work with visitors.

Labs: Science and Experimentation

Students select a question, conduct an experiment, and present their work on a tri-fold display board. Presentations may include a question, hypothesis, procedure, results, and conclusion. Demonstrations, models, and other hands-on learning materials are welcome at each student's table.

Lands: Countries and Cultures

Students select a country and create a tri-fold display exploring topics such as geography, culture, language, food, history, and inventions. Maps, flags, artifacts, food and other relevant items may be displayed to help visitors learn about the country.

Visitors will wander between tables and ask questions. It's a friendly, non-competitive celebration of curiosity, and every presenter will be recognized.

Who can participate: Students of all ages are welcome. Participants can choose Labs, Lands, or both.

Use code “CASH” if paying via cash or Zelle (immediately upon checkout).

Zelle ID: multitudes-collective

Use code “STEPUP” if paying via scholarship.

Funds must be reserved within 48 hours.

Once logged in to EMA, navigate to Marketplace and click “Find Providers”. Search “Multitudes Collective” and reserve the $15 participation fee.

A Note About Participation Fees

These fees are intended solely to help offset the costs of hosting the event, including venue expenses and event supplies. Our goal is to keep the fair accessible and community-centered, not to make a profit.

Thanks, all!
