Cube Crew: Around the World
Join us for Cube Crew: Around the World! This club-style Minecraft class brings geography into play. Each week, we explore a different country and build our way through it.
Families can choose to drop in or enroll monthly. Please note: students dropping in must secure their spot 48 hours or more before the start of class.
Club-style class? This does not mean we will be dropping sick beats and dancing the hour away. It simply means each session includes a brief lecture with a building brief (the “class” part), followed by Minecraft build time based on the brief and the country we are exploring that week. Students can build in teams or individually (the “club” part).
Requirements:
Personal Device: We will set up a server for all students on laptops with Minecraft Java Edition. If your child plays Minecraft on a different device (Switch, iPad, or laptop with Bedrock Edition), they must know how to navigate that platform independently. Please note that students on other devices will not be able to build in worlds with those on the server. The teacher will monitor device usage to ensure students are on task.
Minecraft Java Edition (current release). Java Edition is a separate purchase from Bedrock and Education Edition; every student needs their own account and should be ready to go before class arrival.
Please review the class agreements with your child before class.
Class Agreements
1. Build only in your own plot unless invited.
2. No breaking or editing another builder's work.
3. Use kind words in chat.
4. Respect every culture we visit. Build to honor, not to joke.
Payment
Use code “CASH” if paying via cash (at event) or Zelle (immediately upon check out).
Zelle ID: multitudes-collective
Use code “STEPUP” if paying via scholarship.
Funds must be reserved within 48 hours of sign-up.
Once logged in to EMA, navigate to Marketplace and click “Find Providers”. Search “Multitudes Collective” and reserve the $20 fee for a single session or $60 tuition for a month.
Thanks, all!
